STR8 TECH VS. TAPERED*

JumboMax STR8 Tech grips have a smaller butt diameter than other JumboMax swing grips, however, the diameter of the rest of the grip will feel larger. Golfers that switch to STR8 Tech prefer this more consistent size from top to bottom.

Returned back but its a good quality, was too big for me maybe small size is better

Much more secure lower hand grip!

STR8 Tech - JMX UltraLite

Another getting older golfer here, also with getting worse finger and hand function... My lower/trail hand never felt comfortable on the club handle - even though I kept trying more wraps underneath and moving up in grip size...

Currently testing one grip on one iron and so far the results are kind of exciting! Lower hand/fingers definitely feel more "snug" on the club and, while I cannot measure it, I think there's a bit less ache and discomfort in the fingers after the round.

Many people ask abut ball flight with larger grips - automatically, dare i say, -assuming- that they will be leaving the clubface open on contact and I can tell you that .. for me, at least .. that is the exact opposite of, again, my experience! In fact with a better grip I can better rotate the clubface to and through square coming into and through impact!

I'm sure they're good grips....Just not for me...gave the grip time and I worked with it but just couldn't get used to it. This grip brand isn't for everybody but, you won't know until you know

Arthritic fingers

Both ring fingers have become arthritic and won’t allow my hands to close on the club grip.
An artificial knuckle has relieved the pain but didn’t return total flexibility.
The STR8 non taper grip solved the problem, hands can hold the grip with little pressure
The thicker grip means the fingers don’t have to close as much as on a thin grip.
I feel I have better control of the club with the STR8 grip.
Returning to golf with a more positive attitude and confidence.

I can’t say enough!

I’ve had the STR8 TECH® NON-TAPERED now for a year and total improvement and feel that I tell everyone I play with about them. Since switching to them my game and handicap have improved in fact I’m am now a plus handicap for the first time in 3 decades and a lot of credit goes to JumboMax.
