I am new to golfing this year and spent a long time researching the best way to break into golf, have fun and get better at the same time. I decided to get a custom one length club set with midsize normal grips thinking this was the way to go for me. Then I saw Bryson absolutely crushing the same type of clubs with these monster grips on them. I have massive hands, these grips are the only thing that makes sense for me. I feel the club head more and have more control. I would highly recommend them for big hands and anyone with one length clubs.
Purchased a set of tour grips and installed them. Played two rounds and they are great. Better on my arthritic hands and I like the tackiness of the grips. I don’t use a glove and they are perfect for my game. I am a 7 handicap and the larger grip seems to promote a better swing as I am less inclined to grip harder.
Immediately after installing the grips, I was able to be more aggressive through impact without worrying about over drawing the ball. These grips pretty much eliminated the right side of the course, which as a LH golfer, has always been my miss. Fades are so much easier to hit now. That said, a slight closing of the face at address still allows me to curve one hard right if I need to. I will be playing these grips for a long time.
I've been using these for about 3 weeks now, and love them. control is better than ever.
Started using these with my new set of irons. 7 rounds in and I feel I can be aggressive and brought back my confidence. Im not fearing left or right. I have so much control over my irons play again. Looking to how I perform with these in my next tournament.
I had difficulty putting the first two on past halfway. Had to cut 2 off. I called your help line and immediately got to talk to someone. How great is that. I explained my situation and was given helpful information. Turns out the paint thinner I was using was not mineral spirits. Other grips installed easily and have improved my game. Your man I talked to offered to replace the two grips and I would like to do that. Great website for ordering and great follow up. Thank You.
I bought these because my hands were constantly getting sore and tired after 14 holes of golf. I have had 6 surgeries between both of my hands and have had a portion of 1 of my fingers amputated. I had resolved myself that this was just how it would be to golf from now on. This grips changed my life. I golfed 4 rounds of 18 hole golf last week and my hands were not tired at all. Now if the rest of my body could hold up I would be over the top happy. I would recommend these to anyone who will listen. Thanks for such a great product!
Well, I just don't know what to say. I am not an equipment chaser. I played Ping Zing 2s for 10+ years, Ping G5 for 10+ years and have been playing Ping400s for a couple of years. I broke the tip on my Ping G30 driver so I took my sons M2 driver out of his bag and realized I hit it about as inconsistently as I did my Ping G30. I also did not like his grip. So I did some research and went to Edwin Watts. They sell Jumbo Max but do not keep them in stock. They happened to have an Extra XL that was still in the package so I bought it to put on the driver. Took it to the range and hit for a while to get the feel. Played a few rounds and started hate the feeling in my hands of the grips on my other clubs. I had very good Golf Pride CP2 Midsize grips on all the other clubs. Went ahead and ordered a full set. Put them on my 7 iron and 54 degree. I was very scared to put them on my wedge because I am just so comfortable with putting my 54 and 58 in my hand and getting the ball close. Came back after the round and put it on the rest of the clubs. I play 80+ rounds per year and am a 10 handicap. I feel my round is a flop if I get into the 80s. Let me tell you, "I AM SOLD". You can't just hit your buddies driver with this grip on and say you don't like it. You have to put one on and go figure it out. You will never have another grip on your clubs. Your hand pressure on the clubs allows you be so light you eliminate the jerkey shots and can easily release the club. I played college football receiver and have probably broke every finger at some stage in my career. I use to twist or sprain a finger on a swing at least one time a round. NOT ANY MORE. I have worked on my swing for a while, so I feel my work on my swing, combined with these grips will quickly get me to that 5 handicap range that I am striving for.
They are just too big, going to order the smalls.
It's almost like the advertisement. Use these and you won't go back to the "other" grips again. Played 3 rounds with these and I'm convinced. I am finding a "learning curve" for hand placement.
After an injury to my left hand, my hand specialist recommended oversize grips. These grips have saved my game.
