I installed these grips on my P790 Irons with the X stiff KBS shaft and they just balance the club out so much more now and the feel is AMAZING. I don't even wear a glove anymore.
This entire summer everyone wanted to swing my clubs and there reaction is WOW!! Thanks Jumbo Max
Being someone who Wears a 2xl globe I was so excited they finally made oversized grips for someone with big hands. I’m a 5 hcp and was looking for something to help me stay a bit more consistent with my grip on the club. I bought a full set of the XL grips and the first two rounds the were fantastic. I’ve noticed that on the butt of the grip they are starting to come apart at the seam. Not happy at all with this and will more than likely be replacing all of my grips for a more durable set this week.
Rob, If you had provided your contact info we would of course replace them. Sounds like the grips are perhaps rubbing in the bottom of your golf bag as this is highly unusual.
If you want/need to get your wrists out of the swing a bit these are great. I play to a 1.2 index and my miss is always left (right-handed), these jumbomax grips quiet my hands and help me hit a nice fade or straight eliminating the left side of the course. They take some getting used to
Have bought 2 sets of grips. Size small as I have smaller hands. Grips are great really help promote more body movement. Really helped my game.
I started using JumboMax grips back when they were getting started with the original Wrap grips. However, when I moved to Florida, the heat and humidity was affecting there durability and shelf life similar to Winn grips. It appears that the Tour Series grips they don’t have that problem. My customers are giving me some very good feedback so I will continue using them.
It's nice to have such a relaxed grip and still hold on well. Easier on the hands too. I was leery about changing to this grip but it seems to be working great. I just started golf 6 months ago but found I had a tendency to hold on too tight with standard grips. I'm 62 and have a little arthritis in my right hand so this helps as well.
I have only had the grips on for a couple days and mainly been at the range. I am an ex-Golf Professional that still carries 2-3 hdcp. I was interested in these grips because I was wanting more consistency and a little help preventing me from going left. I have been surprised by the consistent trajectory that I have and I am definitely not going left. My distance seems to be the same as prior std grips. I have noticed more consistent results in my irons than woods so far. Driver is just longer and tends to show flaws a bit more in my swing. I suggest giving them a go and give them a good month test. You will like them.
It’s winter in Maine so I haven’t tried the new grips for real yet but just swinging them around the garage area they feel great. I’ll check back with you this spring for a better review.
I have used these for the past 4 years and I will never use anything else. These grips allow me to use my single axis swing technique. The grips perform well and are very durable.
