The grips are great for my arthritic hands. The only downside is finding bags that will accommodate a full set of clubs with these grips.
Wrote this headline 45 days ago after trying the xl grips for 1 week playing in wet weather and nice weather. Very pleased with their performance. Now after playing lots of rounds with them I'm sold on them and would hate using anything else. Made a big improvement in my game. Purchased 14 on first order and then ordered 6 more, 1 for a driver that I really like, but couldn't hit very well and the others for spares. I'm hitting the driver really good with the switch and the spares won't be used for a while because the grips are showing no wear at all.. Big fan of JUMBO MAX GRIPS!
So I bought one grip to put on my 7 iron to give it a try (11 index). The grip came quick, and was as advertised, hence why the 5 star rating. I've been a hooker my whole life and was curious to see if the big grip would help. Well played 4 rounds so far, and i must say that yes I can't seem to hook the thing. Now I will say there are some trade offs, I'm having a harder time controlling the flight, the ball has been ballooning, and blocked out. So TBD if I'm able to make the needed adjustments. I think this is a product worth giving a try to, but surely won't be for everyone.
You might want to try stepping down one grip size.
Don’t need a glove with these grips! The larger size allows you to firmly hold the club without having to squeeze as tight as with regular grips. The result is less tension in my forearms.
Also, I have heard for ages that you can’t draw a ball with large grips. This just simply isn’t true. I have relatively small hands and conventional wisdom would dictate regulation size grips, but they feel like a pencil to me and my hands get tired gripping the club and this takes away control. Plus I have to wear a glove with small grips and I sweat through two gloves on the front nine. No thanks.
I bought the junior size grips which are still larger than standard jumbo and I will never go back!
These grips completely changed my game. Purchased the xl grips and use them in the palm like Bryson and improved my game by literally 8 to 10 strokes
like the grips and people i have sold grips also like them
These med grips are perfect for my hand (Large golf glove) and have really reduced hand fatigue after a round of golf. The guy at the shop who installed them said "Those are really good looking on your clubs" which may not help technically, but sure helps mentally with shot making.
I Love the New Grips I have put on my clubs. The new Small Junior is a little smaller than the Small wrap type and work a lot better for Me.
I have large hands and these grips are perfect one of the pluses is the feel of getting more club head speed and when your hands start to sweat u still have a great grip on the grip without getting cord grips !
