I purchased the medium grips. What a difference they made for my swing. They work as advertised. I normally played with a medium to strong draw on the ball. I made two changes. 1) I traded in my old clubs and got a set with a slightly flatter lie and 2) I added the jumobmax grips.
It was an amazing difference for me. My ball flight is very straight to a slight baby draw. These grips really cut down on the amount of pressure I was squeezing the grips with. I have much less hand action. I was reluctant to try them because all of the pros I talked to said they were too big. I am glad I did not listen. I did purchase some individual grips at first to see if I would love them. I did. I cannot recommend them enough.
I have been using these grips for about 6 years now, no going back to what feels like a #2 pencil!
Since I have tendinitis I could not play without these grips.
Had a HOLE IN ONE in a golf outing at Ozaukee Country Club for $2000 cash!!!! These grips have really helped my game and I'm playing great again.
these help with the arthritis in my thumbs and hands makes golf fun again!!
SM sized turned out to be the ticket.
Lateral dispersion down
Distance variation down
Chipping is in a new league ... :-D
I don't know who decided on the (slim) so-called standard sized grips. Or why. But I urge you to at least try these grips (pick a long-ish and a short iron). Just try it out!
Single digit: here I come!
My hands are "Cadet" sized, basically a large palm with short fingers. There are not grips out there small enough for the club to stay in my fingers properly in my trailing hand.
The JumboMax grips solved the control issue for me since with the larger grip, I could convert to a Palm/Finger grip instead and I feel I have total control and feel of the club now. I also could change how I hold my club to a long left thumb resulting in more lag and distance.
Thank you, JumboMax!
I'm 70 years old and suffer from a slight case of arthritis. I had Winn oversize grips on my clubs. I came across Jumbo Max grips on line and ordered a large grip not knowing how large it was. It's too large for me. I ordered a medium and small to see them. I put the Medium on my driver and I hit the ball straighter and added 10 to 15 yards to each drive. I put the small grip on my 8 iron and hit it more accurate then ever. I had my local shop (Edwin Watts) order a complete set. My first time out was great. I have a 10 handicap from the senior tees and on this day I shot 73. My playing partner is getting a set for himself. Great Grips!
At first swing I thought these grips might be too big, (+5/16) but the more I used them the better they felt. Now, after a few rounds I have fallen in love with these grips. I only put them on my irons to start, but have added to my driver now as well. These grips really feel good. I don’t feel like I have to hold on so tight anymore. I can’t say at this point they have improved my game any, but they certainly have not hurt it either. I just love the difference in the feel and am looking forward to seeing if my game might start to improve after a few more rounds!
