JumboMax held several demo days at the facility this past summer, and this was the first time that I became familiar with your product.

As like many golf instructors, it's natural to be a little skeptical of many of the new products that come onto the market. After speaking with Corey at one of the demo days, I felt it was only proper to at least give the JumboMax Grips a test. I installed one on my driver, and I have not taken it off since.

The biggest advantage I find in the JumboMax Grip relates to the grip pressure. Because the larger grip fills the gaps in your hands more than the conventional smaller grip, I notice that I can apply much lighter grip pressure and still have the same feel and control as a standard grip throughout the swing.

If you are using a conventional grip, you will notice that when you start cocking your wrist to complete the backswing, there is a tendency for the left hand (right hand for a left-handed golfer) to apply a little more pressure on the grip to help maintain control of the club. I noticed that with the JumboMax Grip, you do not feel the need to change the grip pressure at the top, making for a more tension free swing. The larger grip can also be of benefit to those of us who experience some arthritic pain in the hands, as it can allow you to better enjoy the game and can extend your practice time with less pain.

For those that have a tendency to release or rotate the hands to quickly at impact, the JumboMax Grips can help minimize this effect and reduce the pull or hook ball flight.

"I've been struggling with my driver now for the past four or five months, trying everything in the book to fix it until finally nothing at all felt right. I saw the JumboMax Grip commercials on Golf Channel which led me to the website online, which then led me to go ahead and purchase one last week.

WELL... I played with it for the first time yesterday in spitting rain and the temperature at 48 degrees, all layered up to keep warm... and I'm smashing the ball from the tee box up the middle, in the short grass with an occasional tiny cut! Okay, round two now complete... yesterday, Chicopee Woods, Gainesville, GA. Now keep in mind, as a refresher, before purchasing the JumboMax grip for my driver I was in THE DRIVER BLACK HOLE for about five months! I had been scoring in the low- to mid-eighties prior to this five month period but when the driving woes came upon me I quickly slipped into the upper eighties to mid-nineties!

As I stated in my first comment a week ago, after using the JumboMax grip for the first time I shot an 83 in spitting rain and a 48 degree temp! UNDERSTATEMENT WARNING: I was elated! But in order to make sure that I wasn't being jerked around by the golf gods I decided to withhold a final verdict until I played at least one more round.... That brings us to yesterday and round two... (drum roll please) I shot an 84!! I HIT FAIRWAYS...A LOT OF FAIRWAYS!

And when I missed them it wasn't by much, I still had easy playability with my second shots! I'm telling you that my confidence level with these grips is through the roof! It feels so comfortable... I am a 67 year old man recovering from a broken back. In 2004 I had a 3 vertebral fusion, which all but stopped my golf playing. Slowly, I've gotten back in the game with limited strength. I still enjoy the game, but to shoot a lower score I worked on my short game. I have a device that reads my club head speed -- high 60's to mid 70's. Recently I needed some new grips so I decided to try the JumboMax.

The larger grip was very comfortable. I felt more in control. In my first game it seemed I was hitting the ball farther, but with no more effort. I checked my club head speed for the next few holes and found to my pleasant surprise I had increased my swing speed to the high 80's.

On the 18th hole, a par 4, 250 yards to the water, I hit the ball 249 yards (1 yard from reaching the water) AN INCREASE OF 20 YARDS. To say the least I am very happy with my new grips.

"I have golfed for 35 years. Through that time, my most consistent club has always been the 7 iron, 160-165 straight and high. So when I had hip replacement surgery what I discovered is that I had lost a full club length, maybe more.

"75 degrees and sunny here today so I had a chance to demo the clubs with your JumboMax grips.

"Here is an update after playing 3 competitive rounds with all the grips on my clubs. 
 
Thursday 40 + 38 = 78 with 1 four putt and 2 three putts on the back nine along with 2 birdies. As you can see I hit all nine greens on the back and 5 on the front for 14 greens in regulation. I hit 13/14 fairways. On number 14 I hit a 7 iron from 156 that hit the pin stopping 4 inches from going in. That is the closest to a hole-in-one that I have had in forty years since the one and only one I made when I was 18 with a 7 iron.
 
Saturday 44 + 37 = 81 with 2 penalty shots and 2 three putts. When we teed off in the morning it was 40 degrees with a wind chill in the low 30's. In South Florida we do not get these conditions very often so it was very difficult especially with carpal tunnel to hold the club or even feel my hands. Since I also have a mild to moderate form of Raynaud's Syndrome in my hands when the temperature falls below 50 degrees the blood flows out of the hands leaving them very cold and numb. Considering the conditions I felt 44 was not that bad. It warmed up to the low 50's by the start of the back nine. I was able to sink 3 birdies but had the 2 three putts and 1 of the penalty shots on the back nine. I hit 12/14 fairways but only 9 greens, seven of them on the back side. With the old grips I would have easily shot 85 to 90+ considering the conditions at the start of the round.
 
Sunday 38 + 37 = 75 with 1 three putt. This is a personal best for me going back over the last 5 years. The main difference between Saturday and Sunday was the temperature as it was in the low 50's at the start of the round and warmed to the high 60's by the end of the round. I hit 13/14 fairways and 12 greens. 

One of the nice benefits of the grips is an improvement in my short game.  I use to be a poor bunker player getting up and down from the bunker maybe 1 out of 10 time if I was lucky.  I would leave it in the bunker or just barely get out about every fifth bunker shot. Over the last 3 rounds I have had 10 bunker shots getting up and down on 5 of them for 50% save rate.  In all 10 bunker shots my longest putt was 5 feet so you can see a better putter would have a higher rate of bunker saves. Needless to say I am probably considered a good bunker player now. The grips have also improved my chipping and half wedge play under 80 yards. 
 
My confidence in my ball striking has doubled. This has taken pressure of my putting as I used only 30 putts on Sunday. In my last 27 holes in the warmer weather I have shot 37, 38 and 37 with 3 three putts and 1 penalty shot. This is the most consistent I have played in over 10 years. These grips have made the game fun again. Thanks for creating these grips. Everyone who plays golf and has any problem hitting the ball with regular grips should try these grips."
