I have, over the years, tried various grip sizes from a standard sized grip with two wraps to an midsize with four wraps and still believed that I needed something a little bigger to be comfortable. I have over the last couple of years developed arthritis in both hands and find that after a session on the range or a full round of golf that my hands can be quite painful. I decided to up grade to a softer oversize grip which did have a benificial effect on my hands. Shortly after making this change I discovered the JumboMax range of grips. After much watching of video reviews and reading as much background information as possible I decided to "take the plunge" and try these very different grips.
I placed the order and within a very short space of time the 3 Tour Series Grips arrived. The first grip was fitted to my Driver. I had heard and read all of the information regarding large grips making it difficult to release the clubhead resulting in "blocks" to the right. I had also discussed the effect on the swingweight that adding so much weight to the handle of the club would have. With regards to the swingweight issue quite a large amount of lead tape was added to the head of the club in order to make the swingweight the same as it had been before adding the JumboMax grip. Then off to the first tee. There were absolutely no issues with the ball being "blocked".
The only issue that I experienced was that the ball flew higher than I had ever seen it fly when using a Driver and at this weight the club felt a little unwieldy. After the round I had the the grip on my 55* wedge changed for the JumboMax. After some consideration I decided that I would not have any additional weight added to the wedge I also removed the added weight from the Driver. I was so pleased with the performance of both clubs that I ordered new JumboMax grips for the remaining clubs in my bag. Again the delivery service was excellent.
I am in the process of changing all of my grips over to JumboMax and am extremely happy with the results. The swingweight is not a problem, there are no problems with releasing the clubhead, the grips encourage a much softer but still firm hold on the club and the size and feel of the grips has almost eradicated post round hand pain.
If you are thinking about changing grips give the JumboMax some serious consideration. You may just be surprised at the results. Sorry that this is a long review but I wanted to show that I had worked through a process before committing my self to print.

I installed my new red-white-blue grips on 3 clubs, what a difference!
I've been using Jumbo grips several years, these new R-W-B ones are better still.
Most impressed with one on my rescue club, easier to hit and longer. Hugh Graham, St Andrews N.B. Canada on 7th Dec 2016
