I don't know who decided on the (slim) so-called standard sized grips. Or why. But I urge you to at least try these grips (pick a long-ish and a short iron). Just try it out!
Single digit: here I come! Tom Munk on 25th Apr 2019
My hands are "Cadet" sized, basically a large palm with short fingers. There are not grips out there small enough for the club to stay in my fingers properly in my trailing hand.
The JumboMax grips solved the control issue for me since with the larger grip, I could convert to a Palm/Finger grip instead and I feel I have total control and feel of the club now. I also could change how I hold my club to a long left thumb resulting in more lag and distance.
Thank you, JumboMax! Lu Garza on 9th Apr 2019
I'm 70 years old and suffer from a slight case of arthritis. I had Winn oversize grips on my clubs. I came across Jumbo Max grips on line and ordered a large grip not knowing how large it was. It's too large for me. I ordered a medium and small to see them. I put the Medium on my driver and I hit the ball straighter and added 10 to 15 yards to each drive. I put the small grip on my 8 iron and hit it more accurate then ever. I had my local shop (Edwin Watts) order a complete set. My first time out was great. I have a 10 handicap from the senior tees and on this day I shot 73. My playing partner is getting a set for himself. Great Grips! Ron Gordon on 27th Feb 2019
At first swing I thought these grips might be too big, (+5/16) but the more I used them the better they felt. Now, after a few rounds I have fallen in love with these grips. I only put them on my irons to start, but have added to my driver now as well. These grips really feel good. I don’t feel like I have to hold on so tight anymore. I can’t say at this point they have improved my game any, but they certainly have not hurt it either. I just love the difference in the feel and am looking forward to seeing if my game might start to improve after a few more rounds! Rick on 20th Feb 2019
I ordered the medium/large sample sizes. Put the medium on, ( large just seemed too big), and it feels nice. Currently it’s 10F and snow covered, so hitting balls is not on the agenda yet. I’m headed to Myrtle Beach next month, so I’ll have a chance to try them. I’ll report back. Rich on 30th Jan 2019
I couldn’t say how great these grips not only feel, hold up, but also how they helped my game! Gave a few to players at my club and everyone has switched I’m down to a 7 on my way to lower scores & helps my grip & fingers after a round! Michael Furman on 27th Jan 2019
Great feel, tacky and comfortable grips Unknown on 21st Dec 2018
Having soriatic arthritis, my finger joints are in pain often,
To the point where making a fist can't be achieved. With regular size grips I would sometimes not be able to hold the club tight enough
I have junior small, medium and extra large grips on all my clubs. What a difference in the way they feel. I've already lowered my scores and Less mis-hits for sure.
I'm glad my golf buddy ,Mike,
Made me aware of them. Maybe soon I'll be beating him. Stacey Smith on 17th Dec 2018
This grip is well constructed. I had a problem with rolling my wrist. With this grip I have eliminated the hook. The course I play left is no good. Since I installed the Jumbomax I have eliminated the left side... Love them.

If you experience hand pain after a round, you should give Jumbomax grips a try!! I have used the Tour Series XL grips for 2 rounds in cold weather and have not had any post round issues with hand pain. This is a high quality grip and absolutely the "tackiest" I have ever used! I build and repair many golf clubs and I use the blk/gray jr. grip..great for seniors and those who suffer from arthritis pain..the grip is heavy duty and will last a long time....more expensive than regular grips but we'll worth it... Ron Smyth on 9th Nov 2018
As a high handicapper and never taken proper lessons, I had issues holding the clubs in the traditional way. These grips allowed me to use more of my hands without sacrificing my swing. More power, better club face placement and just easier for me to play golf. At the end of the day, that’s what’s it’s all about. Unknown on 15th Oct 2018
I’m a 6 handicap index golfer and my ‘misses’ have almost always been hooks left. Also, I still use a baseball grip (no overlapping fingers) and so can get handsy. Tried these grips to correct the hooks. I’ve played 3-4 rounds and live them. It’s hard for me to hit a good draw shot now but overall I’m very happy with my shot lines now and nearly all my ‘misses’ and pushes it fades. Hope that helps. Steve on 11th Oct 2018
Tried these after seeing Bryson win back to back weeks, I don't have overly large hands, wear a ML cadet glove usually, ordered medium size. Plenty of stability/security in the hands, no issues releasing the club, feel is still the same as the added weight sits in the hands so you can still feel the clubhead quite easily.
Give it a try and you may be surprised. Unknown on 10th Sep 2018
I have had oversized grips of a different brand on my clubs for a couple of years. My 3 wood shaft was to long always had trouble hitting good shots with it. Had to cut my old grip off. Fixed the length bought a new Jumbo grip. I am super glad I did. The Jumbo grip is even bigger than my original grips and I have hit some 3 wood shots that have been my best in at least three years.
